Too many decisions made too fast. Too many procedures that, let’s be honest, mostly benefit the person holding the scalpel.

So I avoid doctors where I can. :-)

BUT. I’m not stupid either.

When something is clearly unavoidable, I go through it.

No drama, no martyrdom. Just: okay, this needs to happen.

So I had my eye surgeries. Finally.

And thanks to the universe, the gods, and whoever was in decision mode these days, all went well.

I can see. Properly.

Which, after a while of not being entirely sure that would remain the case, feels like a gift I keep unwrapping every morning.
